Government

2ndMate can provide innovative training and web business services to business owners, and to unemployed and disadvantaged groups who wish to grow a business.

Online delivery ensures the training can reach citizens located across widespread areas, and is cheaper than many other service models.

We are open to discussing your ideas about helpful programs for our society, and very much wish to get involved in helping as many citizens as possible to get ahead in life, become more prosperous and live better lives.

Case Study: Australia

A lot of the material in 2ndMate grew out of seminar training provided to members of the Australian Government's "New Enterprise Incentive Scheme" (NEIS) in 2008.

This initiative of the Australian Government provides a pathway for unemployed people to develop a new business for themselves, under the guidance of an approved mentor. Each unemployed person had to attend a 6 week business course, followed by monthly follow-up sessions with their mentor.

The government provides funds for the unemployed person to live on while they establish their business. Participants are given 1 year of funding and mentoring to get their business off the ground.

The original service provided by the 2ndMate team was a website suited to the member's vision, advice, support, encouragement and training as required... all in consultation with the government-approved business mentor.

Pathways

We can tailor our services to match your program.

For example, if you have a business training unit already established, and just need an online business component to round it out, we can slot in some of our seminar training modules, and perhaps some live coaching if required.

Or, if you are rolling out a program that provides small business with a clearly defined pathway to move from traditional business methods to incorporating online methods, we can help you develop a workable framework and proposals, then deliver the program once approved.

These are just two examples. But rather than limit your vision, let's simply talk about your idea, and see where it leads.
